Heat or Eat? That is the question

We all know that one of the most disgraceful things in modern Britain is the death from cold, every winter, of tens of thousands of pensioners.

Think about it for a minute... these are men and women who’ve been through hails of bullets and rains of bombs for this country.

Hard-working, law-abiding people who’ve paid taxes into the system all their lives, but now shivering their lives away despite wearing extra cardigans and blankets, because they cannot now afford to heat their home!

Lincolnshire Coastal branch hold their first 2012 meeting
